BAPWG
members include magazine writers, book authors, technical writers,
scriptwriters,
public relations writers and more. Members meet on the fourth Monday
of most months at at
La Panera restaurant,
Bardmoor Center, Largo (corner Starkey Rd. and Bryan Diary).
Meetings
focus on speakers who have something to teach members or who represent
a market for their work. Members also share experiences and markets.
Any
non-fiction freelance writer is eligible for membership with four paid
published articles (print or online) in previous 12 months, or a book
published in last two years or a publisher
commitment for a new "book in progress."
Annual
BAPWG dues are $25, payable no later than January 1. Dues are prorated
for applicants joining past midyear.
There is a non-refundable $25 processing and initiation fee for newly
accepted or renewing lapsed members. Use the application (click below)
to apply and for the address to which to send the application fee. Send
no membership dues until asked to do so.
BAPWG
is registered with Southwest Airlines as a company eligible for its
discount SWABIZ
program, and paid-up members may use this program.
