BACKGROUND: Florida Press Association awards in categories of investigative reporting, environmental reporting, community service, front-page layout, best of full color, and other awards from other prestigious organizations.  I have worked as a reporter (and photographer), business writer, copy editor, bureau chief, managing editor, editor, and executive editor.  I am a freelance writer and photographer.
